Disseminating Moon in Taurus: Sit With It

It’s Friday afternoon and the Moon has already moved into Taurus. It’s time to take a breath, a long, slow one, and reconnect with the ground under our feet.

Overnight, we’ll enter the Disseminating phase with the Moon in mid Taurus. This phase is one of sharing what we learned at the Full Moon, yet the Moon in Taurus is still and calm. That’s fine.

We’re in the autumn eclipse season and approaching the equinox. The Sun moves slowly, preparing to dance in place for three days before beginning the journey toward the horizon and the darker half of the year (in the Northern Hemisphere).

We need time to process what’s happened so far and prepare for whatever comes next. Instead of disseminating, we think about permeating, or maybe percolating. It’s time to ground. We put our feet on the soil and feel our roots reconnecting.

We’re in the midst of the Grand Earth Trine with the Sun, Uranus, and Pluto. Can we plant ourselves firmly and imagine our way inside this trine? Deep under the earth (Pluto), change is underway (Uranus). The Sun shines light on this process, wanting us to look, to be aware.

The Sun is tightly opposed to Neptune, who turns the Grand Trine into a Kite. Magic is here, infusing the deep changes, inviting us to connect.

Venus, strong in Libra and ruler of Taurus, moves to square Pluto. How do we relate to deep change? How can we creatively express what we feel?

The Moon is exalted in Taurus, strong and secure. This second decan is a place of abundance. We find a calm peace in appreciating what we already have as we reflect on what might happen next.

What an eventful time in this trine. Up north to bring things to storage as a lease is nearing an end. Immediately I felt relief – even happy, as I shockingly realize I am home. I visit the beach where I watched a kite blowing in the wind, grounded by a ribbon and thought of your post. How did this happen? Here in the place I resisted for so long is where I find roots. I am going home with a fresh new mindset and appreciation.
