Tomorrow morning we enter the Crescent phase with the Moon at the end of Sagittarius. The Moon has light in the sky again. This chart brings a bold, creative energy that will feel like a nice antidote to the watery shadows of the Scorpio New Moon.
We’re still in Scorpio season. The Sun at 13º Scorpio trines Saturn Rx at 12º Pisces. Dreams may feel deep and shadowed. Perhaps ancestors will visit. We may feel the presence of teachers, sages, or elders.
Although many celebrated Samhain along with Halloween, the astrological moment of Samhain arrives Wednesday, Nov 6, as the Sun reaches 15º Scorpio. The presence of elders and the experience of dreams and oracles are entirely in season.
Yet both the Crescent and Samhain charts feature a Grand Trine in Fire, with Mars at 0º Leo, Mercury at 3º Sag, and the North Node at 5º Aries. These three in Fire are ready for anything.
There’s a drive to achieve, especially if the plan involves adventure and the attainment of a long-desired goal. Our thoughts and communications could inspire others, as we share our journeys with passion.
In addition to the trine, the Moon and Venus are close together at the end of Sag. Both are also out of bounds, so, our emotions, dreams, and creative expressions reflect our individual genius. We’re channeling something unique.
The downside to all this Fire would be overconfidence. Be sure to allow others their visions and the right to their own creative expressions.
Note that Samhain celebrations include huge hilltop bonfires as well as shadowy encounters with ancestors and spirits. We take inspiration from the Fire in these charts to light our way into the dark days of winter that lie ahead.
