The Gibbous Moon arrives with a high-energy chart we’ll want to be ready for.
So much has happened. So much still going on. We want to do something, or at the least, be ready.
But the Gibbous Moon is a challenge. We think, after our First Quarter experience, we’re ready for the Full Moon, but the Gibbous square-and-a-half from the Moon to the Sun can fool us, trip us up, leave us sprawling.
The Moon at 5º Aries is tightly conjunction the North Node with a trine from Mars in Leo. This could be a breakthrough. It could also be a breakdown.
This could be anger with a side of entitled passion. There are completely legit reasons to be angry, and yet anger can be a trap.
“People who fly into a rage always make a bad landing,” said Will Rogers. “He who angers you conquers you,” said Elizabeth Kenny.
If anger is taking over, step back from the edge. Breathe. Anger often signals our boundaries have been breached. Which ones?
Mercury is adventuring in Sag while squaring Saturn in Pisces. This out-of-bounds Mercury could be flooded with ideas, plans, and strategies without the focus to get anywhere. Saturn here could actually help us find the underlying structures and patterns in our dreams.
Venus can also help. She moved into Capricorn Monday, where she becomes strategic, transactional, and focused on outcomes. She is also out of bounds, where she can be imaginative and yet very practical.
Venus aspects the Nodes of the Moon, squaring both sides, which means she squares the Moon as well.
With Venus, we ground ourselves in reality. What is happening right now that needs attention? What preparation do we need for what lies ahead?
Venus in Capricorn knows anger can start a fire, but it takes careful attention and hard work to keep it burning.
As Lao Tzu said, “Respond intelligently, even to unintelligent treatment.”
