Gibbous Moon in Taurus: Shaking the Ground

posted in: Gibbous Moon, Taurus | 1

In the early hours of Sunday morning, we reach the Gibbous Moon. This phase calls for persistence, a steady loyalty to commitments we made at the New Moon and worked toward since then.

This, the Taurus Moon loves. Fixed Earth endures. Taurus is known for staying the course.

The sesquiquadrate between the Sun and Moon, a square and a half, highlights the contrast between these two right now: Sun in Sagittarius wants to move, explore new ground, learn new things. The Taurus Moon wants to stay put.

Yet, once again, we see things are not that simple.

Sun square Neptune creates fog. How can we charge forward at speed when we can’t see?

Moon conjunct Uranus and trine Jupiter cannot feel secure. The ground shifts, shakes, moves. How can a Taurus Moon dig in deep when the earth itself is changing?

Venus sextiles Neptune: We can find moments of grace and beauty within the confusion. Mars moves to trine Neptune: If we cannot find grace, we can make our own.

At this last challenge before we reach the illumination of the Full Moon, we look for grace. We create beauty. We remain true to ourselves and our goals. When the ground shakes under our feet, we dance.
