At dusk (5:10 pm EST) we reach the Sun–Moon trine. The Moon @ 24 Leo trines the Sun at 24 Sagittarius.
In this time of sorting out what we learned at the Full Moon and what we need to share, we reach a moment of insight.
Today’s trine is a Grand Fire Trine if we allow Eris @ 23 Aries to play their role.
Discovered in 2005, Eris is not part of astrology’s history because we did not know they were there––although they were. This dwarf planet is slightly smaller than Pluto, with more mass.
Named for a Greek goddess of strife and discord, I see them as a harbinger of the crises we face in our time, especially threats to world ecology and the challenges facing woman and children.
Remember, we sit around the campfire sharing tales of the journey with our companions. The stories flow easily (this is a trine after all) and we see how each has some kind of strife, a problem to be solved, at its heart.
What story are we telling? Tonight we can catch a glimpse of what might be hidden in its heart.
Eris is the key. They receive squares from Saturn, Pluto, and Venus, the Capricorn group who represents so much challenge right now.
How do we see and feel our own challenges? How do outside forces create pressure? What are we doing to forge ahead?
Is there something, some creative spark, we are missing?
Neptune is implicated here. Mars has passed their trine to Neptune and Mercury will soon square. This deep well of creativity inspiration and spirit connection finds ways to touch us.
Story creates our lives. Our perceptions, emotions, and actions reflect our understanding of who we are and what we’re doing.
At this Grand Trine, look into the heart of the Fire. There we find guidance on how to shape and share the stories we live by.
