Tonight we reach the semisquare of the Crescent Moon. Clearly visible, the Crescent Moon shines with the promises of our New Moon aspirations. We have embarked on the journey. Our goal is crystal clear in our minds and hearts.
We hit this 45° aspect and face a challenge. Maybe we’re less prepared than we thought. Or the goal is farther away. Or the road is tougher.
This Crescent Moon in Aquarius makes a semisquare to both the Sun and South Node. We are literally looking back to the past, a common trap in this phase. What is undone? What is unfinished?
This landscape, too, is especially challenging.
We are between eclipses, moving from a solar eclipse to a lunar one. Everything feels portentous. Everything resonates.
We are so close to the Saturn–Pluto square now. We can taste it, smell it, hear it lumbering toward us. Yet we can’t quite see it. So we don’t know exactly what to do or how to prepare.
This Crescent Moon feels like the pressure change before a storm front. Depending on your chart, this could feel like a heavy weight or as exhilarating as a strong wind. Or perhaps it’s both energy polarities oscillating from one pole to another.
The challenge is to stay grounded, stay in your feelings, and pay attention. Take the next steps as they show up. We know what’s ahead is big but we don’t know what it is. We need to stay present.
Mercury moved into Capricorn yesterday and helps us focus on the tasks ahead through careful, pragmatic thought and planning. We keep moving, step by step.

Peg
This is exactly the way I feel.
With his passing … I’ve been reading a lot about Ram Dass.
I think his answer is staying in present time.
After all that’s all we have isn’t it?
Thank you so much, Mary Pat, for keeping us on the track.
And some days my track can change from minute to minute.
My answer is to ASK FOR HELP.
Something that I was never accustomed to doing … I now know it works.
Gratitude for all you do.
For us all.

Thanks, Peg! And yes, Ram Dass knew how important it was to stay present with what is. I hope we all can do that 🙂
