Waning Trine Moon in Libra: Connection

Within the Disseminating phase, we reach a trine between the Sun and Moon, a moment of flow, insight, realization.

Before dawn tomorrow (in my time zone), we’ll find that moment with the Moon in Libra, holding the promise of insights that are harmonious, creative, and balanced.

This trine becomes exact just as the Sun–Mars square begins to separate. Perhaps there are rifts to mend after that challenging encounter. We might see the costs of open conflict and understand the value of finding creative ways to negotiate.

This middle decan of Libra, where we find the Moon, is place of joining together. The middle decan of Aquarius, where the Sun is, seeks to build bridges. These two, in trine, want to make connections.

Venus, who rules this Moon, has just entered Aquarius. At the far end of this sign of fixed Air, we find Mercury newly retrograde. Clearly, this is a moment of reflection, of considering our highest principles, and of what it will take to build the world we envision.

If we need one more pointer to the importance of this moment, we’ll notice this Sun–Moon trine is actually Grand Trine in Air with the North Node.

With so many planets now in Aquarius, we are truly oriented to the future. We likely don’t all share the same vision, or the same priorities. The waning trine reminds us we can talk, mediate, get creative, include everyone, and fined a way.

We don’t always have to fight.
