Just before dawn this morning (EST), we reached the waning sextile between Sun and Moon that offers a time of clarity before we shift out of the Last Quarter and into the Balsamic phase.
A Capricorn Moon can feel heavy at times. Today, in the midst of Pisces season, this Moon reminds us who we are and where we live.
Yes, we are stardust. And in this life, we are stardust formed into earth beings who have been given a beautiful, delicate planet.
The Moon sextiles the Sun and Neptune and Venus, grounding this cosmic trio. Patterns of connection and grounding are reflected throughout the chart.
The positions of Jupiter and Mercury echo those of the Sun and Neptune: 18 and 20 Aquarius, 18 and 20 Pisces. There is a difference. Mercury is pulling away from Jupiter, while the Sun approaches Neptune, but they are close, still, and mirroring each other.
We feel deep and far-ranging connections now. At the same time, we hold high ideals, imagining beautiful futures. We’re inspired, especially where Pisces appears in our birth chart. We might feel overconfident of our ability to realize our dreams.
The Capricorn Moon grabs our ankles and says, look, there are steps to be done here, aspects of reality you cannot wish away. Your dreams are worth pursing but need to be anchored in the real.
There is the connection with the Nodes, too, as Sun/ Neptune/ Venus continue to square the Nodes. We can feel how this time in history is full of turning points, choices to be made that will shape both individual and collective futures.
And the Moon will soon square Eris, the harbinger of our most dangerous and pressing issues. Dreams and visions are vital but must become concrete actions in the world.
