The Sun emerges from the the deep waters of Scorpio to step into the bright blazing light of Sagittarius. The shift in energy is palpable.
We won’t leave Scorpio behind completely. Mercury remains, which means we retain the capacity to perceive the shadows around us and give them voice. Mars remains, a powerful force reminding us we’re not yet done with secrets, hidden things, and what we’d prefer not to notice.
The Sun’s response will be to turn on all the lights and then leave town.
Which is not quite fair, since Sag rules wisdom traditions as well as swift travel, but we do want to move.
If our time with Scorpio has been challenging, we’ll be tempted to grab a fast horse and head for the hills.
Instead, we might consider gathering up what we learned with Scorpio and starting to put it all together. Over the last weeks, we’ve had plenty of revelations. What do we make of them? Are there patterns? Does an overall meaning or message begin to take shape? This, too, is Sagittarius.
In this sign, we’ll feel holiday cheer. Optimism. A sense of well being. Gratitude. And, if we feel stuck, we’ll want movement.
It’s time to make tracks. Through the world. And, more importantly, in our lives, making sense of what we’ve learned and charting new ways forward.
