Overnight tonight, we enter the Disseminating phase, which opens with a sesquiquadrate, square and a half between the Sun and Moon. This is a time when we’re pushed to share what we learned or experienced at the Full Moon.
Of course something this feels natural, an invitation into conversation. Sometimes the sharing is internal, as we sort out within ourselves what we know and feel.
This Disseminating phase is likely to feel unpredictable.
The Moon in late Aries is conjunct the North Node, a volatile combination. The asteroid Eris is also tightly conjunct, bringing our concerns onto a global stage.
When an electron gets a burst of energy, if the burst is large enough, it pops the electron into a higher orbit, farther away from the nucleus. This is often an unstable state, although an interesting one, known as “excitation.”
Coming off an intensely magical Full Moon, one in which Saturn’s presence may have created some pressure, we might be feeling, well, excited. New ideas. Creative inspiration. Spiritual insights.
We could feel like we have a lot to say and do and it all needs to happen now.
This is a great place to pause and take a breath.
During this Disseminating phase, three important shifts take place. Each shift will inform our understandings of the Full Moon (and beyond). Each also needs time to unfold.
September 3, Venus in Leo stations direct. This is an intense focus in Venus’ underworld journey. Now she gathers the strength to turn and rise again.
September 4, Jupiter stations retrograde. We begin a time of re-examining our philosophies. What do we believe? What do we stand for?
With these stations happening so close together, we feel the intensification of both. A change in emphasis and focus is happening. We need a moment to get our bearings.
On September 6, Mercury reaches their conjunction with the Sun. Another point of intensification, of illumination, that we won’t have access to right away.
It’s tricky. We’re excited. We might feel elevated, moved into a higher orbit. Yet there’s more to learn.
The Moon in Aries will want to do something. That’s fine. A good idea. But make it experimental, a test flight, a trial run.
There’s more information heading our way before the emerging image is complete.
