Tonight we enter the First Quarter with the Moon in Aries squaring the Sun in Capricorn. This is the phase in which we’re challenged to move forward on our goals, taking whatever actions are needed.
This chart is dramatic and intense. The Moon at the end of Aries is ready to respond creatively to any challenges ahead. The Sun at the end of Capricorn is determined to hold on to what they’ve achieved. This is a powerful combination.
Pluto, conjunct the Sun and square the Moon, adds depth and intensity. Most important, perhaps, is what happens next. Within the First Quarter phase, the Sun reaches conjunction with Pluto. Then the Sun and Pluto each enter Aquarius.
We had a preview of Pluto in Aquarius in the spring of 2023, but this is the real deal. Yes, Pluto will dip back into Capricorn in late fall, but the lord of deep things is embarking on a long stay in the sign of fixed Air.
Do you remember the Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius at the end of 2020? We entered a new great Age at that time, an Age of Air. Pluto’s shift into Aquarius will begin to show us how this new Age will change our world.
At this same time, Venus in Sagittarius squares Neptune in Pisces. We’re challenged to explore new ways of being creative, in new spheres, with new understandings.
There are no planets in Aquarius in this chart, yet its eccentric, forward thinking, crystalline logic crackles through space. We’re on the verge of something entirely new. Are we ready?
