In a few hours, we reach the Gibbous Moon.
This Moon in mid Gemini connects to the Sun and Pluto (sesquiquadrate), and Chiron and the Nodes (sextiles and trines). These are unsettling to a Gemini Moon, especially in this middle decan, in which the both/and approach looks more like bouncing between extremes.
We’re in the midst of extreme weather conditions across North America and other parts of the world, although with extremes in politics, social movements, and the needs for resources in places where they are scare.
The Sun–Pluto conjunction continues to draw attention, shifting as it has across the Capricorn/Aquarius boundary. We’re in new territory now and have no idea what it will look like.
It would be so easy to bounce with Gemini and escape. The world offers so many rabbit holes. We could just pick our favorite one and … disappear.
But no. The Gibbous Moon represents a final trial, one more test that could derail us before we reach the Full Moon.
We need that Full Moon in Leo to give us a first glimpse of what we’re working with. We’ve got to stay present.
The task over the next few days is to stay grounded. Stay present in our bodies. Keep connected to our communities and to each other. We can do it.
