The Leo Sun conjunct Mercury trine Mars, Lilith, and Eris in Aries feels pushy, edgy, and possibly threatening. So much is going on and the intensity of Fire is too damn hot.
Today’s Balsamic Moon shows us another way.
We entered the Balsamic phase about an hour and a half ago, with an early Cancer Moon just leaving a conjunction with Venus.
Venus and the Moon trine Ceres in Pisces, who is the grain goddess nurturing the Earth to be fruitful and abundant.
This is the Moon’s home sign, where she loves to be. At this doorway into the last waning phase before the New Moon, we feel emotional and vulnerable, and also supported, protected, and loved.
This year’s Leo season, though welcome after the long time we spent with Water signs, has been a lot to cope with.
Mars in Aries wants all the things right now. Even when we’re on board with the goals, getting there can leave us exhausted. Burnt out.
Now we’re in the phase of letting go. The idea of hacking away at what needs to go is, well, do we need to bleed more right now?
This is where the Moon, Venus, and Ceres come in. Yes, it’s time to let some things go. Outworn ideas. Ways of looking at the world that were never right but somehow familiar. Past hurts. Past goals, even.
This process doesn’t need to be harsh. We can move gently. We can thank whatever we’re releasing, from our heart.
The biggest challenges, the toughest climbs, the most difficult relationships. Is it time to say farewell? Can we acknowledge how wrenching deep change is for us? Can we move forward anyway, with gentleness and care?
Yes. Yes, we can. This is what we’d wish for those close to us. This is what we can offer ourselves.
