Balsamic Moon in Gemini: Creative Healing

posted in: Balsamic Moon, Gemini | 0

We’ve already entered this Balsamic phase as the Moon loses light in the sky, preparing for the New Moon in Leo. It’s time to let go of what’s holding us back, what’s complete, what we don’t need.

The chart is complex and intriguing.

The Moon at the end of Gemini, semisquare the Sun, is very out of bounds. Our ideas may be off the charts. If your brain tends to be overactive and jumpy, this could be too much. Find ways to stay calm.

Mercury in early Virgo, ruler of the Moon, is barely moving as they prepare to retrograde. This might slow our minds down. Or we may feel frustrated as the Moon insists on thinking nonstop and Mercury can’t process it all.

The Moon separates from a square to Saturn and moves to square Neptune. We shift away from Saturn’s work to create structure. We’re heading into a boundless, misty sea where anything can happen.

The Moon sextiles Venus in Leo and Chiron in Aries, as Venus and Chiron trine each other.

Here is a pattern we can work with.

Chiron, the wounded healer, already reminds us of the power of art to bring us into wholeness. Venus rules this last decan of Aries and is strong here.

In the third decan of Leo, Venus knows true power lies in being able to hold on to what we have. Within ourselves, this means learning what is true gold (to be kept) and what is dross (to be released).

At the end of Gemini, the Moon knows choices must be made. This doesn’t make it easy. Here, creative exploration comes in.

We’re in the phase of letting go. Venus and Chiron say, express yourself. Try new modalities. Step outside your comfort zone, where answers can be found.

This is private time. There’s no judgment here. No one needs to see. The process itself will help us. Look for moments of clarity. An aha! A sense of direction emerging from the fog.

Let your mind wander, no matter how bizarre it seems. Watch for the sparks of light.
