Balsamic Moon in Libra: Pruning

posted in: Balsamic Moon, Libra | 0

We’re now entering the Balsamic phase, the dark of the Moon before we reach the nadir of the New Moon. This is a Libra Moon, newly arrived in this Venus-ruled sign of harmony and beauty.

With the intensity of the transits that will happen within this phase, the peace of Libra feels like a gift and a respite.

Tomorrow we reach the third, final Jupiter–Pluto conjunction. This is likely to trigger something big enough to show up in the news, but we don’t know what. Pandemic? Politics? Something to do with power shifts. We’re already feeling on edge.

The next day, Mars station directs. This will not immediately remove all obstacles because he’ll be standing still. It may intensify whatever Jupiter–Pluto brings.

One gift of this Mars Rx has been the chance to see in exquisite, excruciating detail where our anger, irritation, and frustration triggers are. What have you learned?

Some of us have more Fire in our charts than we know what to do with, some have very little, most are in-between. Did this Mars Rx show you disconnects? Do you struggle with going after what you want, or feeling righteous anger? Or are you too quick to fire up, needing to slow down and not scare people?

Our charts and transits will point to where we need to focus. This Balsamic period is a great time to understand, adjust, let go, and commit to change.

Mars is about separation, cutting away. In this garden of the Venus-ruled Moon, we will prune. Our secateurs are prepared, sharp, well oiled. We can picture in our mind how we want the roses to grow in the year ahead.

The question is, do we have the skill and the resolution to make the cuts we know are needed? For beautiful roses later, now we much cut away the dead branches.
