Crescent Moon in Capricorn: Stalwart

The word ‘stalwart’ came into English from the Scots, with roots in Old English that meant ’to stand, to be firm’ and ‘good’ in the sense of serviceable, or fit for the purpose.

Tomorrow morning’s Crescent Moon @ 11 Capricorn is in a half square back to the Scorpio Sun and poised to encounter Pluto, Jupiter, and Saturn.

Given how baleful the Capricorn group has become this year, we might worry the Moon is not in a good place at all, not ‘stalwart.’

Yet finding solid ground is what Capricorn is all about.

We could also call this Moon intrepid, having just finished a trine to Uranus and a sextile to Scorpionic Mercury, while applying to square Mars.

As we enter this waxing cycle, we need to find solid ground and plant our feet there. Leaving the mysterious, shadowy New Moon, we’re heading into a pair of eclipses. Caught between challenges, we want to know where we stand.

What do we know? What can we know?

The answers will be within our New Moon visions, dreams, and intuitive messages. We also look to how we coped with Mars Rx. What did we learn about anger, frustration, irritation, and patience?

During this Crescent Moon phase, we’ll walk through the rocky Capricorn terrain with a Moon newly fortified with deep understanding and new skills to try.

We could be tested in the next days. Let’s stand our ground. Don’t forget what we’ve learned and what we know in our bones.

Stand strong. Be stalwart.
