At the Crescent phase, the Moon is visible again. It’s time to figure out what we need, and want, to do, so we can carry out what we learned at the New Moon.
We still have a strong presence in Aquarius, with Jupiter trining the Sun and Mercury, expanding on what Pluto has been transmitting. Messages are arriving thick and fast.
Pisces pulls focus with an extraordinary conjunction of Venus, Neptune, the North Node of the Moon, and the Moon herself.
This is having all the feels. ALL the feels. Intense dreams by day and by night. A mighty tide pulling us toward communion and connection. A boundless sea.
We can find deep spirituality and amazing creativity here, and also confusion and delusion. Not all dreams are true.
The South Node in Virgo anchors this chart. Remember that ordinary life is a spiritual practice. Let chopping wood and carrying water keep you from drifting.
This South Node trines Uranus and Pluto. We’re in a time of big change. And also, taking small steps every day is a vital practice.
The Crescent Moon story unfolds:
February 3 is Imbolc, the Celtic shift into the light half of the dark half of the year. Within our deep dreaming, we feel new life taking form.
February 4, Venus enters Aries and Jupiter stations direct. We’ll trade Venus exalted in Pisces for Venus the fierce, uncompromising and direct. Jupiter is intense and moving forward. Momentum builds toward action.
So, dream. Dream deep. Dreams come first.
“Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly.”
–Langston Hughes
The poet Langston Hughes was born February 1, 1902 in Joplin, Missouri (birth time unknown). Sun and Mars in Aquarius, Venus Rx conjunct Mercury in early Pisces.
