Disseminating Moon in Aries: Direct

Tonight, we enter the Disseminating phase with the Moon right in the middle of Aries. This second decan of cardinal Fire is a royal place, the decan in which the Sun reaches their greatest exaltation.

In the Disseminating phase, we grapple with what we learned at the Full Moon, and what to do with it. The illumination transmission has happened. What next?

The Moon embodies this perfectly, sitting as she does in the royal, Sun-exalted Aries decan. We’re sorting out who we are now in the aftermath of the brilliant light of the Full Moon.

The Sun left Leo behind to enter Virgo this morning, a come-down for the Sun except that that Sun and Mercury are in mutual reception, supporting each other. They’ll help each other navigate the territory.

Later tonight, the square between Venus and Mars becomes exact. While this aspect is important on its own, it also signals the ending of a series of squares and oppositions that included Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, and finally Venus, all in the mutable signs.

In this square, Mars has more power (in tech terms, Mars is in the superior or overcoming position), so he gives directives to Venus. She will still put her signature lovely touch on whatever she does, but Mars gets to call the shots in this one.

Mars also rules this Aries Moon.

So we’re taking the wild rides and bright lights of the scintillating Supermoon and translating them into action. We can talk all we want, we can make endless plans, but in the end, we’ve got to do a thing and see what happens.

Over the next few days, try something. Do the thing you want to do. Make a test run. Be direct.
