Did you have a high energy day yesterday? I sure did, which is why I’m a day late posting about the Disseminating Moon.
Yes, we’re in the waning cycle as the light of the Moon lessens in the night sky. Yet it feels like the energy is high, bright, and ready to get stuff done.
The Disseminating phase is the time when we take our Full Moon illumination and shape it into a form that can be shared. The Disseminating chart points to our entry into this phase being impetuous, determined, and passionate.
As we entered this phase, the Sun @ 15 Leo has just passed the moment of Lughnasadh, the celebration of the Earth’s abundance and all of the gifts we receive from this bounty. In ancient Ireland, this festival was celebrated with races, feats of arms, and feasting, as well as trading and the arranging of marriages.
All of this would fit well with the Moon @ 0 Aries. Yes, the Disseminating phase opened with the Moon at the Aries point, the beginning of the zodiac cycle, the place where new things come into our lives.
Applying to trine Mercury, conjunct Chiron, and then move on to Mars, Lilith, and Eris, this Moon dove into a wild ride.
It’s possible we could overshare, saying too much or saying the wrong thing to the wrong audience to have the effect we wanted.
Or instead we could, following the illuminations of the Full Moon, find our voice. One of Aries’ gifts is personal clarity. We’re able to see, and say, and act on, what we truly want.
Whether we can reach our goals, or even whether our goals are worthy, follows after. First we need to get in touch with that wellspring within.
