The Disseminating Moon is a square-and-a-half that says it’s time to release, share, broadcast what we learned at the Full Moon.
The intensity of that Scorpio Moon means we’re likely still processing, recovering, or both. Sharing gets us moving forward.
Right after the Full, we went questing with the Moon through Sagittarius, diving for gold and trying to make sense of it all. That journey concluded as the Moon reached solid ground in Capricorn.
At the same time, the Sun and Mercury moved in stately fashion through the final degrees of Taurus, only to burst into the flames of the Mercury Cazimi as they both entered Gemini. This could have felt like a lightning strike, an illuminating “ah ha!” moment, or the click of something slipping into place.
Since then, the Moon has moved inexorably toward the Capricorn heavies, where we find her at the Disseminating Moon, conjunct the South Node, Saturn, and Pluto.
We are caught between the past and the future, poised between rock solid ground and a scintillation of air.
We can fight to break free, beating our wings wildly against the tethers holding us down, but do we have the strength? And where would we be then?
We might instead want to feel how deep our roots truly go. Feel the strength coming from mother earth. Use that strength to reach as high as we can, see the distant vistas, and bear witness to what is possible.
We need those roots to grow strong wings.
