This Disseminating Moon reflects the complexities of our time. It’s usually a time for sharing what we learned at the Full Moon, but what do we say? How do we say it?

The Moon is in the second decan of Libra, a place of promises kept and broken. The tarot card associated with this decan is the Three of Swords, often known as the heartbreak card. Yet it’s also a place where we need to face reality. If we can’t accept what is and move on, we’re truly stuck.
The Moon opposes Venus in early Aries, as Venus rules this Libra Moon. In Aries, Venus wants to speak her mind and let the chips fall where they may. Justifiable, perhaps, but not always the most effective approach.
“Be careful with your words, once they are said, they can only be forgiven, not forgotten.” ––Carl Sandburg
The Moon is in a T-square opposing Chiron in late Aries and squaring Mars in mid Cancer. Mars remains out of bounds and retrograde. Those things we really, really, really want to say are pushing hard. I get to say what I think, right? It’s only fair, isn’t it?
Mars feels wounded, the Moon tries to be diplomatic, and Chiron asks us to look at the pattern. Is this going to help anything? Is this where we want to be?
“Raise your words, not voice. It is rain that grows flowers, not thunder.” ––Rumi
The Moon also, thank goodness, makes a trine to Jupiter. Jupiter is in the middle of Gemini, so, not the most discrete place, but this Jupiter is skilled in balancing opposites. A great time to consider all sides before doing (or saying) anything.
The square-and-a-half to the Sun defines this phase. The Sun is not strong here, can be reflective and careful about what to say, but also feels frustrated. Sometimes we can see things we can’t find the words for.
Mercury has slipped into the dream worlds of Pisces. This is a confusing place. It may take time to sort out the real from the imagined.
We’re hearing so many things right now. What are we to do? How do we respond?
Our specific situation will be reflected in how this complex chart interacts with our birth chart.
If the Mars retrograde created a confused emotional landscape for you, finding your center may be the first, best option.
If the Moon–Jupiter trine connects carefully considering all sides may feel like the obvious choice.
If Venus in Aries has you fired up, consciously connecting to the Libra Moon might help create calm.
These are complex times. One approach will not be the best for everyone. Be discerning.
“The words we speak become the house we live in.” ––Hafiz
