We’ve now entered the Disseminating phase that follows the Full Moon. As the name suggests, it signifies a time of sharing. We have achieved something and want others to know. We’ve realized a truth and want to share.
Except now the Moon is in Scorpio and what we thought we knew has shifted. It’s morphed into something haunting. Something personal.
This Moon @ 7 Scorpio opposes Venus @ 8 Taurus, fresh from her conjunction with Uranus. Once again, we see the Moon is the focal point: Trine the North Node, sextile the South. Sesquiquadrate the Sun. Inconjunct Chiron.
The Full Moon felt bright, real, comfortingly solid after all the fogginess. Now we’re seeing more of what the fog was hiding and it’s not so pretty. It is, however, quite real even if we still can’t see it clearly.
Mercury is direct but unaspected. If we came through feeling a new certainty about ourselves and our world, that certainty might feel a bit disconnected and hollow.
Meanwhile, Eris is chaos goddess squares Pluto the lord of transformation, while quintile the North Node. Quintiles are creative connections. (Mozart had seven of them.) Out of chaos, new forms are birthed.
And Venus and Uranus form their own aspects to the Nodes, trining the South and sextiling the North. So the tangible and the unseen are two sides of a mirror, two aspects of reality that cannot be separated.
The Full Moon, so luminous and large, promised magic. That magic was and is real. We now find ourselves in a dark wood. It’s dusk and there are shufflings in the undergrowth. These reminder us that we have a new charm in our pocket. We have a new talisman, an incantation, an ally.
What is meant to be shared during the Disseminating phase is the new magics we have acquired. Use them.
