Overnight, we’ll enter the First Quarter phase with the Moon in late Gemini.
The First Quarter is generally a time to figure out the tasks we need to accomplish to reach our goals. But since the upcoming Full Moon is an eclipse, we’re not committing to actions. We’re looking around to watch for signs.
This is just as well. With this chart, the real question will be how much we can take in all at once.
The Gemini Moon squares the Sun–Neptune conjunction. This is like a front row seat at the Big Bang, or being able to see into the heart of the cosmos. It’s a lot.
This Moon also trines Mars in Aquarius, sharing intel with a Mars hungry for information to construct the Next Big Plan.
Meanwhile, Mercury moves to conjunct the North Node, both in mid-Aries. Our minds feel bright, active, questing. We want to know, learn, and act.
Yet Mercury is slowing down in the sky, preparing to station retrograde on April 1. (Yes, we begin a Mercury Rx on April Fool’s Day.) We’ll enter the retrograde shadow in a few days.
We’ll also reach the Equinox during this First Quarter. March 19, the Sun enters Aries to begin a new zodiacal year with a perfect balance between night and day.
So much going on! Lots of energy everywhere, bright and shiny and new.
With the Gemini Moon, we can be curious, open, and excited. What magical things might happen? What new colors can we discover? What’s the most amazing thing we can see?
Sometimes we catch a glimpse of how amazing this universe is. We watch in awe, bounce on our toes like a four-year-old, and ask, “What’s next?”
