We reached the Gibbous Moon this morning at the moment the Moon entered Aries.
After a night swimming in Piscean waters, we arrive at the Aries point, 0, the beginning of a new cycle.
The Moon immediately forms a semisquare back to the Sun @ 15 Scorpio. Then she does something else: She conjuncts Chiron the wounded healer.
At this point in the lunar cycle, we’re committed to our New Moon goals. We are on track, maybe, sort of, and now we face one more challenge. Can we clear one more barrier to claim the Full Moon’s illumination?
We’re about to find out.
At the threshold of Aries, we confront pain.. Chiron highlights our unique patterns of wounding. Whatever we feel will be familiar––and also new. The gift of this Gibbous Moon will be to see an old hurt in a new light. Oh! we say, This is what’s going on!
It might not feel great but understand this as a gift. We asked for something at the New Moon. We’ve been working toward it. And now we trip over something in the way. We need this information.
The Samhain Sun and Mercury retrograde opened our channels to the past. Our past. The deep past. Now the Aries Moon and Chiron show us how a familiar pattern stops us from reaching our goal.
Pay attention. The Aries Moon is fearless and ready to explore new territory. The Scorpio Sun and Mercury can see in the dark and know where things are hidden. This is a potent combination.
The Sun travels from Saturn to Neptune today, sextile to trine. We can gather insights on form, boundaries, work needed and then pour them into a deep cauldron of dreams and visions.
We have a few more days before the Full Moon. See what comes up to be resolved. Welcome this next step on the way.
