We’re in a time of great tenderness. The Sun, Venus, and Chiron are together in Aries and the Moon in Leo.
We’re in the Gibbous phase, which we entered yesterday morning. The Venus cazimi happened overnight.
We’re leaning into a Full Moon in Libra opposing the Sun, Venus, and Chiron. When the Sun reaches Chiron a few days later, there’s another cazimi, another illumination of the heart.
The Gibbous Moon, a square-and-a-half from the Sun, sets a final challenge. What must we do or accept to move forward?
Brené Brown knows.
Her work shows us over and over that to live a life of joy, passion, and purpose, we need to embrace the fear, shame, and vulnerability that are hallmarks of being human.
We know Venus has had her moment with the Sun but we don’t have the message yet. We won’t for some days, when she emerges from beneath the beams.
The same with Chiron. We know healing work is needed. But which? What’s most important?
Yet here we are with all this Fire. All this love. All this hope.
The Gibbous Moon asks us to lean in. Step in. Be vulnerable. Be courageous. Knowing in every moment there are no guarantees.
Love and longing on one side. Fear and shame on the other. And we’re in a place of not knowing.
Well, we know what the best choice is. We just don’t know what it might cost. This is how life works.
“Let ourselves be seen, deeply seen, vulnerably seen, to love with our whole hearts, even though there’s no guarantee… to practice gratitude and joy in those moments of terror, to be this vulnerable means that we’re alive.” – Brené Brown
