The Gibbous Moon arrives after midnight as the Moon in mid-Libra forms a sesquiquadrate to the early Gemini Sun. As we head toward the Full Moon Eclipse, this phase poses one more challenge.
By now in this cycle, we should have clarity on our current goals. At least, that’s the idea.
With the Sun, Venus, the North Node, and Mercury all in Gemini, the main challenge might be sorting out the many ideas and potential goals popping up all over.
The Libra Moon pushes for a focus on goals that are balanced and fair. The Gemini group are more interested in curiosity, variety, and cleverness. These two orientations are not necessarily incompatible but they’re not the same. Which direction are we headed?
Venus will be helpful here. The Sun and Moon are a square and a half apart, pushing, but the Moon and Venus are happily trining each other. Perhaps we can find balance in variety.
But there’s more: Jupiter in Pisces squares the Sun as Neptune in Pisces squares Mercury. Here is another view, one of deep spirituality, or distraction, depending.
Let’s add Saturn in Aquarius who forms a wide but serviceable trine to both the Moon and Venus. Saturn in fixed Air will try to sound like an Enlightenment sage but might just be a mouthpiece for the current power structure.
Which voices are most persuasive for you? Remember that none has a lock on truth. Each has something to offer; each can lead us astray.
We’re reaching for our Full Moon illumination, one cast into shadow by the eclipse. We need to be discerning and remember the goals we committed to at the New Moon.
We wish to follow the voice that guides us to our best path. Which is most persuasive for you?
