The Gibbous Moon forms a sesquiquadrate to the Sun, a square and a half. We draw close to the Full Moon but are not there yet. This Moon reminds us not to let up, not to count on success. Not yet.
The Moon has moved into Sagittarius, shifting our attention from water to fire. Forming a strong trine to Chiron in Aries and Mars in Leo, this Moon wants action. We are acutely aware of where we’re hurting and want that fixed.
Mercury retrograde is involved too, a waning energy but still very much present. We might feel reluctant to act, drawn to more contemplation, yet the urge to do something is strong.
Perhaps the Moon picked up messages as she met Mercury on her way to this Gibbous Moon Grand Fire Trine. Perhaps we already know what we need to do.
At this time, action, being in the spotlight, sharp pain, the search for meaning, an urge to go on a quest, and the drive for freedom all connect.
