We are poised on the threshold of July’s paired eclipses.
🌚
Tomorrow, July 2, the New Moon in Cancer is a total solar eclipse. This eclipse occurs at the Moon’s North Node, and ascending node pointing to what is emerging and coming into our lives. It will be visible across the southern tip of South America.
🌝
This eclipse, in Solar Saros series 172, is close to the end of a series of eclipses that began in 991 AD and ends in 2452.
🌚
Two weeks later, on July 16, the Full Moon in Capricorn is a partial lunar eclipse at the Moon’s South Node, the descending node pointing to what is leaving, being released from, our lives. This eclipse will be visible over most of Asia, Australia, Africa, Europe, and South America.
🌝
This eclipse is in Lunar Saros series 139, which started in 1658 and will end in 3065.
🌚
As we approach this portal, take some time to consider where you were and what was happening in your life 18 years ago, in July 2001. Each Saros cycle repeats every 18 years and 11 days, so, these two eclipses will call back to that time in your life.
