The Moon had just slipped into Capricorn–are you suddenly feeling more serious?
In about seven hours, this pragmatic, hard working Moon will square the Aries Sun. Playtime is over, the Moon says. Stop larking about with those elves in the wood and get some work done.
Which fits, because that’s exactly what the Last Quarter Moon is about. We grew through the waxing cycle and were illuminated at the Full Moon. Now it’s time to make good on those goals.
Picture the Aries Sun playing games. Literally. Aries likes spontaneous fun and dislikes structures that confine his energy.
Maybe it’s video games, but I’m thinking cards. The Capricorn Moon is dealer. OK, he says, time to show us what you got.
Unlike card games, though, this is not a win-or-lose situation. Instead, we’re asked to step up. We had experiences and insights and while not all were wonderful, they were intense. We know things we didn’t before.
Mercury is edging into a sextile with Pluto. Deep forces are emerging. Venus trines the North Node, sextiling the South, attempting to smooth our way into the future. Pluto cares far more about what’s authentic than what’s smooth, but an assist from Venus is never a bad thing.
Unless you’re a Capricorn Moon, that is. Enough with the dreams and visions, says this Moon. What are we going? There’s work to be done. Let’s get to it.
It’s been a fascinating hand. Now it’s time to show our cards.
