Last Quarter Moon in Gemini: Lit

Early in the morning (5:26 am EDT), we enter the Last Quarter phase with the Moon in early Gemini and also out of bounds.

This Moon is excited and ready to talk about it. At the beginning of Gemini, we discover the scintillating excitement of the world and all the things in it. Since the Moon focuses our attention, everyone’s invited to celebrate the variety and wonder of it all.

The Moon joins Jupiter and Mars in this sign of mutable Air, which adds an expansive drive to explore.

This Moon, just leaving a trine to Pluto, will trine the South Node (and sextile the North), square Saturn, meet Jupiter, meet Mars, square Venus, and square Neptune.

Of course, there’s also the waning square to the Sun in Virgo that defines this phase.

Yes, there’s a lot going on in the mutual signs and the Moon will light up all of it.

Two other celestial events brighten up this phase: Mercury stations direct August 28 and Venus enters her own sign of Libra August 29.

Venus gets extra creativity boosts via a square to Mars and trines to Uranus and Pluto. Our ideas will have focus, originality, and depth.

It’s a high energy time, great for generating creative ideas. The desire to communicate will also be bright and strong, although we might want to be sure we don’t overshare–everyone will have something to say.

Grab your sketch book, journal, camera, or however you capture ideas and record impressions. It’s time.
