Last Quarter Moon in Taurus: Pivot

posted in: Last Quarter Moon, Taurus | 2

The Last Quarter Moon is a square from the Moon to the Sun and squares are challenges. Suddenly, we see where we are. This lunar cycle is closing! Where are we with our New Moon wishes and goals? How have we weathered this lunar month?
🌗
We can admit this has been a tough one. New Moon eclipse to Full Moon eclipse, challenges from Saturn and Pluto, and all those planets in Water signs.
🌗
This cycle has been emotionally fraught and at the same time packed with insights about our history––family, ancestral, tribal, cultural. If we’ve dared to looked and to feel, we know more now than we did. Knowing can be painful and ultimately enhances our development.
🌗
And––where are we right now? We count the gains and losses and think about what gets pitched.
🌗
This Last Quarter in fixed signs could make taking stock more difficult, but the results potentially deep and lasting. The Sun is early in passionate, heart-centered Leo, the Moon in grounded, steady Taurus. These two can resist change, preferring to celebrate the moment.
🌗
Except we see Uranus right there, conjunct the Moon and squaring the Sun. Uranus may be slower in Taurus, but this only substitutes the inexorable for the explosive. Change WILL happen.
🌗
Bring your heart, mind, and gut all together to face this. It’s time to pivot, turning from what we’ve gained to what must be released. Know that letting go is not about tidying up, but about finishing the process of growth and realization you’ve been putting so much energy into.
🌗
Turn toward the future.
