As the Moon closes in on the end of Virgo, the Capricorn group is highlighted once again.
Trines from the Moon to Saturn, Pluto, and Venus connect our need to be of service––and our anxieties about things getting out of control––to strong forces outside our control.
That Moon also squares the Sun, bringing us to the Last Quarter Moon. Here we pivot, heading back toward Earth. Our focus shifts from sharing to integrating.
We have experienced much since the Full Moon, which illuminated our journey from the last New Moon. We’ve grown, achieved, shared.
It’s time to question everything and prepare to adjust accordingly. This is the challenge of the Last Quarter, one that could feel especially difficult this time.
Mars closely sextiles Saturn. Jupiter is just past their trine to Uranus. Forces of deep change are in play. Are we ready to welcome them? Partner with them? Or are we afraid?
The Virgo Moon is prey to anxieties and at first glance seems to prefer the familiar. Yet this is a narrow view of Virgo, a sign deeply committed to being of practical service to the world.
Virgo is acutely attuned to details. In this phase, we have the chance to see right down to the bones.
We see how stories and lives are put together. We see the structures underneath our own lives and stories. This can be daunting. There may be places where boundaries need to be adjusted, supports added.
This late Virgo Moon might seem inconsequential, a momentary thing on a much grander stage. But the devil is in the details.
Will we retreat into fear, holding on to what we know? Or will we grasp this moment and accept the challenge within it?
If we do, we can find guidance in precisely how and where we need to change, in order to partner with larger forces.
Can we change as part of larger changes? Are we willing to become what we can become?
