Overnight tonight, Venus leaves Virgo and enters Libra, her daytime home in Air. We’re in an intriguing transition, moving from careful attention to mundane details to an expansive, uplifting time.
The third and final decan of Virgo is a place where we realize all things in the world will, at some time, come to an end. Often this feels like loss. It can also be a completion, realizing some part of us has reached its fruition and is finished.
This feeling is poignant, especially in a time in history when we feel the loss of many things. Yet it’s also a necessary part of life, one that opens space for new growth.
Libra is a place of beauty, in the deep sense of harmony and balance. Here we see bright and hopeful possibilities for relationships, creativity, and also prosperity, since Venus influences wealth. We want to connect with other people and with life itself to create good things.
As Venus enters Libra, the Moon enters Sagittarius, Jupiter’s daytime home. Venus and the Moon are sextile, an energized connection that enlivens both. The Fire of Sagittarius energizes. We’re ready to move. There’s a feeling of expansion. The world looks bright.
Today we may feel a sense of wrapping up. We might realize, somewhere in our life, it’s time to let go. It’s natural but not always easy.
With the shift about to happen, we may also feel a sense of new possibilities. Our spirits lift. We feel new wind beneath our wings.

The fact that a night ago I didn’t even realize that the signs were changing in Venus just confirms how powerful these planets are. I love Virgo and how she represents the day to day life but also the world because she too is earth. I have noticed all these signs without even noticing the transits. I appreciate this post so much!

Thank you so much, Sha! This happens to me too sometimes … I feel a shift and then go look and find out, ok, yes, this 🙂
