The waning trine arrives tomorrow morning during the Disseminating phase to give us a quiet a-ha! moment, a sense of harmony in the midst of change.
The Moon is in hard-working Capricorn, trining the Sun and Uranus. Saturn, who rules this Cap Moon, is definitely still in the picture, squaring the Sun and Uranus.
It’s like the Moon is taking Saturn’s side at this trine. “Look,” she says, “if we want big change it takes serious work. Let’s dig in.”
Why not? Uranus shakes things up but never promises instant change or easy do-overs. No revolution is easy. So this is where we understand that getting out from under our burdens means getting our hands dirty. There’s nothing wrong with that.
A note about Beltaine: Many will celebrate Beltaine this weekend. Opening the day with this trine shows that Earth and the things of Earth are the cornerstones of this magical time of fertility and regeneration.
Astrologically, Beltaine won’t arrive until May 5, when the Sun reaches 15 Taurus. No need to wait, though. Since Beltaine is all about taking care of the Earth, supporting her growth, and welcoming the assistance of the Good People to accomplish it, opening the weekend with a Sun–Moon trine in Earth will keeps things strong and grounded.
