Waxing Sextile Moon in Libra: Only Connect

“Only connect” is a central theme of Forster’s novel Howard’s End and points to the need to connect our inner and outer lives to create a life of meaning, creativity, and purpose. The waxing sextile, arriving before dawn tomorrow EDT, is all about connection.

The late Libra Moon forms an energized sextile with the Leo Sun. Both luminaries seek connection, if in different ways.

A shallow Leo might seek only to connect with an audience. A deeper Leo seeks to connect their heart light to the lights of others.

The Libra Moon connects by checking in. An anxious Libra might appease anyone who seems upset. A deeper Libra will ask: Are we OK? Who’s not OK? Whose story hasn’t been heard yet? Whose story calls for amplification?

Friday, Venus’ day, is likely to show us how we might connect, opportunities for doing so, and perhaps the costs of choosing not to.

The Sun and Moon sit at the base of a yod aspect with Neptune in Pisces at its apex. Here we see that connections made in the ordinary world can be expanded into extraordinary connections linking us to things we never imagined.

The answer to solving the yod lies in the sign opposite the apex, which in this case is Virgo. Here we find Venus, Mars, and Mercury, all ready to take the step by step, careful actions to build the connections we long for.

The ongoing pandemic shows us again and again all the things we love, hate, and need about connecting to other humans and beyond. As we move into another time of restricted movement, we face this again.

Notice where you feel connected and disconnected over the next few days. What might you do to strength your most nourishing connections?
